Our commitment
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this site. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
Text and interface colors meet WCAG contrast ratios; every page has one H1 and a logical heading order; landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) are marked up; all functions work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link; dialogs trap focus and close with Esc; form fields have labels, error messages are announced in text; images have descriptive alternative text and decorative images are hidden from screen readers; the site respects “reduce motion” settings; pages declare their language (English or Russian).
Known limitations
Some third-party content is outside our control: YouTube videos use YouTube's own captions; interactive maps are supplemented by text summaries (distances, flood zone and official data links) on each neighborhood page. Listing photos come from the MLS and their alternative text is generated from listing details.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter a barrier, email lidiyatretyak1@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us the page and the problem, and we'll provide the information in another format and fix the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Review
We review the site with automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing at least every 6–12 months and whenever significant changes are made.
