Doral real estate guide: prices, pros & cons, risks
A modern, bilingual city next to Miami International Airport: newer planned communities, parks, schools and a major business and logistics hub.
Living in Doral
Doral sits just west of Miami International Airport and has grown into one of Miami-Dade's most planned, modern cities. It's a hub for international trade and logistics, home to many corporate offices, and many businesses operate in both English and Spanish.
Buyers come for newer communities, parks and a range of public and charter schools. Golf resorts, CityPlace Doral and Downtown Doral add dining and shopping.
Doral real estate
Townhomes and single-family homes in HOA communities make up much of the market, with mid-rise condos around Downtown Doral. Many homes were built in the 2000s and later, so layouts and construction are generally modern.
What to check
HOA and CDD fees (community development districts can add a separate line to your tax bill), school boundaries, and rental restrictions within each community.
